Roman travels to the United States three times a year to reach more fame and get more and more popular. Our most popular wine in the US is Grüner Veltliner. It’s very difficult to pronounce, so just call it “grooner”. Grüner Veltliner is our most popular grape variety in the Weinviertel region, and that’s why we are very familiar with the production of this dry white wine. All of our Grüner Veltliners have this fine touch of black pepper, what’s very typical for this grape, we just call it PFAFFL.Pfefferl in German.

At the moment we recognize a very high reputation in the United States due to the “top 100 cellar selection award” of the Wine Enthusiast magazine. Our Grüner Veltliner HUNDSLEITEN 2010 reached 93 points in this ranking and is now one of the top 100 wines in America. Moreover our Weinviertel DAC Grüner Veltliner HAIDVIERTEL 2010 has been in the spotlight as well because “winereview” assessed it with 91 points. But there is also a fantastic red wine which is very beloved on the American wine market. We are talking about our St. Laurent ALTENBERG. “Winereview” evaluated it with hot 93 points and author Baroness Sheri de Borchgrave said that this is an absolutely "wow-wine".
