There is pretty tumult in our cellar. Right to the start of the autumn season we present the new vintages of our more opulent wines to you. So there is no silly season for our team, but we do not mind. On the contrary, we cannot wait for it.

We are always proud of our full bodied wines, but in connection with the fulminant year 2009 we are awaiting wines that make you adoring them like the golden calf. Also the wines from the vintage 2008 are very interesting. Having in mind that this autumn was nearly a summer in our region, you can imagine how much our Excellent, which is harvested in October, must have profited from those temperatures. Or take our round, extremely soft Chardonnay ROSSERN, so compact with an hint of vanilla, harvested in an October which could have been confused with a June.

But stop these useless daydreams. What we intended to say is: The new vintages of Weinviertel DAC Reserve GOLDJOCH, Riesling AM BERG, Chardonnay ROSSERN, St. Laurent ALTENBERG, Pinot Noir, Excellent und Heidrom are available by the end of August.
